Part 2: Your social media success strategy
Now that you have your branding and content planned out here is part 2 of my social media success strategy.
Last week I spoke about the three key elements you need to set your business up for success on social media; Professional Branding, an Optimised Website and Professional Photography/Videography.
Once you have these in place you can focus on your social media content strategy. I usually break this down into 3 key parts for my clients:
👉 WHAT ARE THE UNIQUE SELLING POINTS OF YOUR BUSINESS/PRODUCT/SERVICE?
If you want your business to stand out on social media you need to be unique. What makes your business stand out from others? What are you doing that no one else in your industry is doing? What are your strengths?
Promote this side of your business. Create your social media captions around this.
👉 WHAT IS YOUR MAIN OBJECTIVE?
e.g. get leads, sell products, increase brand awareness
Why are you using social media? Ultimately you should be using social media to generate leads, enquiries and drive sales. You need to determine what your main objective is and keep this in mind in all the content you're putting out on your social media pages.
👉 WHO IS YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE?
Nailing your target audience is key to growing your social media pages and having an engaged audience. Create a target customer avatar using the below questions so that this person is really clear in your mind when you are creating your social media posts.
⚡️ IS THIS PERSON MALE/FEMALE/BOTH?
⚡️ WHAT DAILY ROUTINE DOES THIS PERSON HAVE?
⚡️ WHAT DOES THIS PERSON EAT/DRINK?
⚡️ WHAT BRANDS DOES THIS PERSON LIKE?
⚡️ WHAT HOBBIES DOES THIS PERSON HAVE?
⚡️ WHAT TYPE OF CONTENT DOES THIS PERSON TEND TO ENGAGE WITH?
⚡️ WHAT STRUGGLES DOES THIS PERSON HAVE?
⚡️ WHAT DOES THIS PERSON GET ENJOYMENT OR HAPPINESS FROM?
